You have to agree that 20 year ago it was not easy for normal users of computers to connect an VPN to their router. This lets them pretend to be in a different country and access all the video content that is original to. It seems like a remarkable feat of technological savvy. However, anyone could achieve this today if they are determined and have the desire. Two routers I've personally destroyed. One router was stuck forever updating and another wouldn't power on anymore after I reset the flash bios.

If I want to unlock an online video I usually use a different tool-set. VPN works, but it could be too slow to download 4k videos, or it might not change your IP every few seconds, confusing the source of the video. I sometimes run into these videos on Youtube, they are bound to be geo-locked or country-locked to play in certain areas only which makes it impossible to enjoy a lot of music from other countries. Uploaders in these countries either wish to provide sound only to their natives or do not have the right to license their work outside of their source of work.. In such instances, Keepvid and Flvto are my go to aids. These sites seem to always provide a solution for all three. I'll go to my next site if one does not work. They are not in a specific order. It is great because it lets proxying be used to download videos, which could be very useful sometimes. It can convert Youtube videos to MP3 format. Also, download speeds are fast. Y2mate has been ranked among the top 200 most viewed websites. That means they know they're doing something right If people keep coming back. The website is excellent. Flvto takes over Y2mate's place if they don't get it to work as it usually does, LOL. It also works with Youtube as well as other websites. Fltvo is fast in downloading speeds, and can handle huge Youtube playlists, and has integrated Youtube video search. This lets me quickly find videos I want even when I don't exactly where they are. Flvto is an excellent search tool that provides suggestions based on the latest trends.

Keepvid is finally out there. This isn't something I use often because the other 2 sites handle the problems. But Keepvid is the sole site worldwide that offers all length Twitch video downloads, I looked and searched for alternative methods but couldn't find. Apps lose their value and other sites try to do it but fail. Keepvid is the best. It is compatible using Youtube playlists and lets you download videos that are popular. Even though it comes with more redirects than normal, and lately it has a lot of external ads, these ads won't show up until after you have downloaded your video. However, this is not something that I am averse to, and I prefer Flvto as well as the two other sites.
