1. If the child's parents did not learn how to read then the parents would not teach their child how to read or write so the kid would not no how to do anything.

2. If you were a slave than you would do everything that the people tell you to do.

3. Kids choirs were kinda the same choirs that kids do today like making beds but we do not scrub the floors get water from the wells we just use a fosset to get water.

4. Girls cook with their mother and male help make fires and help do manley things that they do.

5. When kids had fun all the fun that they had was mancalla and hoops and sticks.

In the colonial times men and women did not always do the work it was sometimes the children.Girls would always help their mother cook and boys would always help their father.Could you imagine if you were a kid that not a lot of fun in their childhood. All the fun they had was playing with chickens or playing mancalla and the hoops and sticks. But if the whole family were slaves than that was no good at all for the family because they would have to do anything that the people would say. Children did not get to play soccer or baseball or basketball they did not get to do any of that stuff. They had to clean the floors and make their bed and help their mother cook so they won't starve. This is what the colonial times were like in their childhood!
