A Review of the Famous Vampire Movies

The answer to that question is to defy the most powerful organization he's been a faithful servant for so many years. And, of course, creating cross-shaped bullets with names and stuffing some more of the same handy, cross-shape throwing stars into the holy rounds would be sort of like wearing an eagle outfit to a football match. For an action-packed movie, you can dress up as an Chinese Jiu-Jitsu expert.

I found this film to be extremely slow. The scenes of the priest chased by Vampires reminded me of how slowly the plot of Vampire Lestat progresses however, the pace of Priest's in the movie could use an improvement. In the book, Lestat is chased by the Vampires but not shot by them. This movie featured more intense action scenes and more convincing acting.

The great actors also assisted in acting. Priests in modern films are typically played by little known actors with uninteresting characters. Cruise and Heard however, are both talented actors who put in their best efforts for each other. They both delivered memorable, fascinating performances.

One complaint about Priest is his use of minor characters. Nearly every movie since Halloween 2021 has featured at least one supporting role who dies or returns in time. Most of the time, these characters are the villains. This time around the supporting character the priestess, played by Stephanie Meyer, is the only person of importance in the film. Although the min-woo man is an interesting foil for the priest, the role of the priest is nothing more than a reason for the hero to get an awesome fight scene.

Despite the lack of depth depicted in the book Priest invests a lot thought into the symbolism that he employs. In the book, there is a great amount of symbolic meaning that is associated with the vampire. Priest is the main character. The symbol of Priest is shown in the film using the cross symbol, which makes the symbolism more obvious.

The vampire film is a basic affair, with only two screen gems. The book and movie will be appreciated by those who like mythology and vampires. Those who don’t like the mythology or vampires can skip the film to go to another horror novel or movie. Priest is still an absolute must-see regardless of your preferences.

It's a pity that Priest did not get to see other fantastic horror films like House of Dracula and The Ring. But, these two films are Priest's most known work. He wrote a couple of other horror novels that were also well received such as The Necromancer and Black Death. Without Priest's writing, perhaps some of these other horror films could have been a possibility at the big screen.

This is just my personal opinion, however overall, I would like to commend The Necromancer for being one of the top Priest movie screen gems. The movie combined the best parts Priest's writing about vampires to create an entertaining film. The plot was compelling and the animation was stunning. If you are a fan of vampires and horror, then The Necromancer is ideal for you. It's not as frightening as you may think.

Blood Vampires is another movie that comes to my mind when I think of Priest films. Blood Vampires stars Anne Hathaway and Kevin Dunn. It is the first Priest movie where vampires aren't the blood thirsty, vampiric creature we know today. This film depicts Priest working with authorities to stop Dracula and the vampires from escaping, razing villages and murdering innocent people.

The Bram Stoker's Dracula is the most famous aspect of Priest. As a lover of Gothic fiction, I was awed by the mix of Priest, Dracula, Count. Although Priest isn't a part of the book's events directly but he is mentioned in the beginning of the book. His appearance in the novel gave it an authentic feel and gave the book a more convincing sense of realism than other vampire stories.


One film that doesn't receive the attention it deserves is the remake of The Return of Dracula. The movie has modernized a lot of aspects to appeal to contemporary tastes but it still feels dated and the acting isn't as good as one would expect. While there are some great parts, the movie isn't as memorable as the original Priest. The movie did have some improvements in special effects as well as finishing touches that I thought were necessary to make the story more memorable. The vampires in this movie are not as scary but that's not a bad thing, as it makes them look even scarier. Overall, Priest is a great vampire film and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to check out what a fascinating vampire movie can offer.
