What have you noticed that has changed over the last year? It's my commute. It's astonishing how quiet the station appears while it commutes to work. The train journey took 1 hour and was crowd of passengers. Some even had the courage to get up and not let sleeping stop them. Today, there are few people per train car. All of them work remotely or from their homes. This is yet another tragedy of the pandemic. The reality was that I was unable to work remotely. My job involves hands-on practice with equipment that cannot be remotely accessed nor removed from the outside and taken back to home. I work at home remotely.
I decided to take advantage of the anonymity I enjoy by being one of very few train drivers who are not a train rider, and I've been digging into tutorials. There are numerous tutorials covering a variety of subjects. They cover drawing shadowed circles with Adobe Photoshop, stacking multiple effects rendering 3D models with chrome reflections, reflections, and much many more. It's not easy to accomplish at home, but I can follow the instructions and recreate desired effects. This is all computer-related. I apologize if that was wrongly understood. I'm not studying how Ikea furniture is assembled or how to provide more efficient customer service.
Although I did learn how to lay grout and tile on the walls and floor around 12 years ago. YouTube tutorials and videos helped me complete the task. Our bathroom is stunning with brand new flooring, walls and fixtures, as well as new toilets and pipes. Although the bathroom is wonderful but I have found that taking a shower is never more relaxing. Do you not think it is the best feeling in the world? This is the feeling I'm experiencing. It took me 8 long years to accomplish all of it. I was able to learn everything on my own, so I did not need to collaborate with any other person. Around 2 dozen tiles had been broken before I discovered that the tile must be scored. After that, a specific breaker with an angular shape should be used to ensure it is broken along the cut. I was able to cut thin and long pieces of tile with the breaker when it was working.
Normally, I would just make use of this Youtube video downloading website to save mp4 files to my laptop. After that, I would put it up in a bathroom and start to play video while testing the knowledge I was gaining toward the job. I employ the same technique for my iPad. I bring it along when I travel to view great tutorials, which keeps me very entertained for long train rides. CSS has become my best friend. It is the JS tricks I struggled to grasp. I now know how you can ninja-kick someone when they least expect. I have also learned many things from him and his channel on ecommerce. I'm shocked that it will take me so long to try every one of them.
Dailymotion and Vimeo provide a wealth of educational videos. If the video isn't important I could make podcasts from the videos. You can also save them to your computer as MP4 files. You can then pretend you are presenting a lesson. Just remember the downloaded files are typically in the downloads folder of your browser, and most browsers will save on your desktop or open the folder using a the shortcut combo, perhaps you need some time off. Yes, I do.
