While I'm not sure of your roots or which era it was, I'm one generation of borderlineY generation. I grew up in rural areas where clubs were not common. My first club night was around 20. I can't remember much except that I did so numerous uppers and lowers. My friends told me that I had a wonderful night. I was new to club life, and it felt like being baptized. It was that simple. It was not the trappings that brought me to this lifestyle but the way things were.. for a couple of decades I moved from club-to-club. Do you remember the tune "Who's going to take me to the aftershow?" This was me. I walked out of the club in the morning to take an ride to the show after.
Sometimes we couldn't sleep at all, full of vitality and energy. We said farewell to the final BOO party that night and headed into Central Park to go for a walk.. I still remember wearing antiperspirant from head to toe and sweating for hours on my forehead..
The video of the night was saved to my computer forever. I uploaded it on Youtube along with my friends so that it could be there for all time. My surprise was that the video was deleted. Also, there was a party sound recording which was said to come from some label. It also works with your phone. It's all I need to do is to forward the URL of the video to 2conv to download it to my computer. I didn't have time, so I had contact the non-spoken member of our group 5 years ago. But, we did have an enjoyable conversation.
Everyone should be aware to not claim the source of their videos and soundtracks. If you are using someone else's work, image or even money, they could delete your video , or claim you earned money from fabricating the video. They then ask for one dollar for every 3 million views. You get on drinking binge, erase the video, and hope that there's nothing to happen.
