Online video storage is not reliable. Some sites may shut down or go out of business. Here are some ways to backup your social media presence to your laptop.

My personal story doesn't have much depth. My story is not an extensive one. I was born, went to school, worked, and then finally, I was online. It also contains some very difficult moments when I thought that it was all over. One of those moments was when my laptop at home stopped responding. But after a bit of playing around, getting a new desktop and moving my hard drive from the old into new one I was able restore the entire work on the drive. It took me three days of sweat and tears. But, I learned an important point: Dropbox and personal file servers can be used to automate or manually back up my entire day's work.

It's certainly not the best option. The bigger your data storage grows the more you will need to spend to keep everything in it, to keep it up and running. It's very simple and secure. It's simple to download and is downloaded from anywhere that has internet access. But what about times when WiFi or any other internet connection isn't accessible? I keep my laptop close at hand during these instances. It serves as my last line of defense against the worst. They are connected to form a RAID stack to ensure that they copy each other, and ensure that one copy remains in case one of the HDDs fails. Because I rarely copy my laptop's contents the laptop, I've made it so that two drives do not get separated at the same time.
Another day of sorrow came couple of years ago. I make sure that I don't lose any work. Like I said, I have copies of it numerous times. It's also accessible on the internet whenever connectivity is accessible. It was different this time, it was about Periscope. I was using it quite often some time ago. In the last summer 2020 riots, I did some live streaming streams. Periscope TV closed suddenly and all streams disappear in a matter of weeks. What should I do? I'm required to download all videos and save them on my computer. Those videos are very significant for me. I was with my friend at the time he disappeared from the radar of Covid. It seems like it was a matter of.
It's a website that I regularly frequent. It lets me download videos to Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook as well as other websites that host my live streaming. I am interested in politics and underground movements. So I film many live events, save certain ones for later, and then publish them on YouTube. Every time I finish live, I back up the video into my laptop. This is what I do. It lets me share videos across different platforms. I can post a YouTube videos on Facebook however, I can also upload it to Facebook. Every video is a separate video. It turns out that I have over 3TB of live streams that I've made in the last eight years. Periscope lives aren't lost.. and this site has been extremely helpful for me.
It's as easy as. After opening the video I'm looking for I copy the URL using the sharing link. Then, I go to the video downloading site then copy the URL and hit the big button. In just a few minutes, I am presented with a variety of options to download videos. Periscope may not be available on all sites. The site is able to manage the m3u8 file other sites download for you. I then navigate to the video downloader site and paste my video link wherever they would like it. After that, I hit the big button. The video isn't downloaded to my computer, it's on the internet and plays when player loads small fragment files in a sequence.
If you're not familiar with that, Windows uses the copy command to assist you combine such fragments and create a normal 1 long video file. This is because of the format used to create the fragments: MpegTS, also known as transport stream. The format for video used in the fragments is Mpeg TS. It permits new users to stream from the middle of the stream with no interruption. It also helps save data because it only downloads files which are relevant to what you're watching. If, for instance, you only view 25 seconds of the stream the player will download only 3-4 fragments. In addition it could download the next couple of fragments. This allows you to reduce the amount of data you need by downloading only 25 seconds of stream video.
