‘한국 김치’라는 인증 제도가 생기면 외국뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 원산지에 대한 신뢰를 높이는 효과가 있을 전망이다. 최근 국립농산물품질관리원(농관원)은 올 상반기 원산지를 거짓으로 표시하거나 표시하지 않은 업체 1771곳을 적발했다고 밝혔다. 이 가운데 가장 많은 적발 사례가 배추 김치 (420건)였다.

진안군에서 후원하고, 부귀농협에서 주최한 이번 비대면(온라인) 김치축제는 28년의 역사를 자랑하는 마이산김치공장에서 최초로 열린 행사였다.

행사 중 주목받은 프로그램으로는 홈페이지로 신청한 전국의 50가족들에게 선착순 ‘김장체험 꾸러미’(절임배추10kg, 양념4kg)를 공짜로 보내주고 김장체험 후기를 공유하는 ‘온라인 김장체험 챌린지’였다.

포천시 영북면지역사회보장협의체는 지난 17일 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 국가유공자분들에게 여름배추김치로 고마운 마음을 전달했다.

영북면지역사회보장협의체는 매년 열무김치, 알타리김치 등 김봉일 위원장이 직접 재배한 재료를 이용한 김치나눔사업을 추진하고 있다.

윤숭재 영북면장은 “특별한 달을 맞아 국가유공자 어르신을 위한 여름김치를 만들어 주신 영북면지역사회보장협의체에 진심으로 감사드린다 지역을 위한 끊임없는 고민이 이러한 지역복지사업 추진에 원동력이 됐다고 본다”며 감사의 마음을 표했다.
