My story isn't an epic one. I was born, went to school, worked, and until I finally got something done online.. There were also some moments where I felt like everything was gone forever. One of these was when the computer in my home became dark. After a bit of tinkering and moving the old hard drive to the new and installing a new computer, I was able restore all of the work on the drive. It took me three days to shed tears and sweat... but I learned one thing. Dropbox and my personal FTP server can be used to be able to backup automatically and manually my day's work to ensure that it's never lost.
However, it's not the best solution. The more data you keep online, the more money it will cost to keep it all up and running. It's simple and seems to be secure. It's also extremely easy to download from any device connected to the internet. But what happens when WiFi or any other internet connection isn't available? I like keeping my laptop close at hand for those instances. It serves as my last line of defense against data loss. Two drives are on my computer, each with an RAID stack. They copy each others and ensure there is at least one copy in the event that one of the HDDs crashes. I copy only data there to ensure that the laptop does not fail.
Another big day of sadness was a few months ago. I take care not to lose work. Like I said earlier, I have multiple copies and have access to it wherever the internet is accessible. This post was not about Periscope. I used it a lot few years back as well as this summer 2020 during riots I did a few live streams.. Then all of an sudden Periscope TV is closing, and all videos will be gone in a two weeks. keep videos What can I do? I need to download all videos and store them offline on my computer. They are extremely important to me, it's the last time I hung with my friend who disappeared from the radar during Covid It appears to have gotten him..
It's a website that I use to download video clips from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook as well as other websites. I'm a political activist and am involved in underground movements, so I often film live events, save them for the future and then publish them on my YouTube channel and each time live ends, I save it up into my laptop. This is the way I work. It allows me to share Youtube video on Facebook but also to upload the video to Facebook. The video could then be its very own video. In the end, I've got over 3TB of live streams that I've created in the past eight years. Periscope live streams don't go away.. I find this website extremely helpful.
It's flawless. Start the Periscope video I want to download, then copy the URL through the share link. I then go to the site for video downloaders, paste the video link there, and within seconds I'll see a variety of options for downloading video. I can save it to my desktop or laptop, and copy it across platforms, and then save it for my loved ones. Periscope can't be supported by every site. But it is supported by this one.
By the way, if you were unaware that you could actually create windows copy command help you put such fragments together and create a normal one-long video file. It's because of MpegTS the video format that is used to break the video into fragments. Also known as transport stream. The stream contains all the details needed to decode every fragment. They are completely independent of each other, which allows each new user to stream effortlessly. The browser also protects information by downloading 360 x 10 second files. It downloads only the streams you are currently watching. The player will receive 3-4 fragments from the 25-second stretch, and then 1-2 more fragments in case it continues to watch the stream. This reduces the total download time to only 25 seconds prior to the start of the stream.
