慶幸的是，雷軍還是很清醒的。在小米年會上，雷軍親自曝光，小米平板5確定會在2021年更新。同時，小米高管徐潔雲也正式官宣，平板業務確定更新，並且MIUI團隊還會給平板專門適配系統。時間過得飛快，近期，外媒曝光瞭小米平板5的核心配置，具體表現怎麼樣呢？
從圖片參數來看，小米平板5告別瞭中端的定位，升級為高端產品。想想也是哈，既然定位是「下一臺電腦」，那麼性能就不能太差。如果連剪個視頻都做不到，那就搞笑瞭。
基礎配置方面，小米平板5或搭載驍龍870，支持5G網絡，屏幕采用LCD全面屏，最高支持16GB+1TB的配置可選擇。
電池容量可能高達10000毫安，支持50W快充，續航能力肯定是有保證瞭。值得一提的是，小米平板5采用瞭2K+144HZ屏，據外媒曝光，其觸控采樣率高達480HZ。這一點很重要，近期很多大型遊戲都準備移植到移動端，比如LOL、DNF等等，小米平板5的配置可以說大有可為。
不過，小米平板5被曝光的同時，也帶來瞭一個壞消息。小米平板5堆瞭那麼狠的料，價格勢必不會太便宜。目前比較可信的消息是，小米平板5的國行定價是3999元左右，可以看齊iPad Air4瞭。對比小米平板4的千元定位，5代完全不在一個概念的產品。
