Young DJs should invest in quality music. MP3s with low bitrates aren't the most suitable choice.

I'm not a DJ. I am a listener. This is my mantra. At school and in college I was a DJ but was unable to do more than copy what was done elsewhere. To be completely honest, I didn't have the imagination or the ears to become DJ. click here My DJ career was an absolute nightmare. I would miss the beat and change to 7th instead of 8th. I'm a listener. I can hear a DJ's mistakes and understand what they mean. But I'm not sure how to entertain my audience endlessly for hours.

If you're trying to be a DJ, don't let me deter you. My experience shouldn't deter you from following your dream. I am a firm believer in being flexible to change and doing what you love. Do what you want and be you. DJs, as such require constant support to comprehend the reality. It's helpful to help them see what is going on in the world around them. A new trier DJ shouldn't convert Youtube music into MP3 because it isn't allowed according to their Terms of Service and it doesn't suit our ears with regards to audio quality. The sound quality of any music or any other type of video, no matter how 4k or even 8k video is, the sound is still restricted to 128kbps for m4a containers, which technically can produce 160kbps mp3, which is around there. I hope you don't get confused by these numbers. If you are a DJ or computer sound lover like me then you'll be aware that mp3 could hold as much as 320kbps of high-quality sound. It's fantastic, but it's actually cutting off audio. This is achieved by cutting the most and least frequency of sound into mp3. And so final sound is a bit muddy.. If you play deep house at 320kbps, it doesn't sound as deep. Playing it on a Vynil is like having crystal clear audio - the quality of the sound knocks out crystal glasses.

New DJs should not invest time (and possibly money) in cheap versions of songs that are popular. Beatport, Juno Download and Fruity Loops are great places to start. There is an extensive collection of sound quality that is high-quality and solid. It can be used to make remixes or mashups. The sound will be amazing due to its rich bass, even if you add the bass of a lower quality MP3. This is what mp3 sound typically lacks - amazing bass, especially in clubs with the incredible sound systems of 10kW of speakers.. Any sound defect is noticeable when using a high-powered sound systems.. However, on the other hand, when party goers will be hearing this sound, the whole club ambience will not let them focus on the imperfections, as there'll be enough noise to drown out anything sub par.


However, this knowledge should not be enough to make a new DJ feel comfortable. Work on improving your sound, every day and every performance, isn't that what makes an excellent artist, a fantastic entertainer? It's best to invest in the tools that you employ to create the most powerful sounds, the ideal mood for dancing in clubs and the most enjoyable times that club members can enjoy. They will come back if you provide them with top beats. This is the norm.
