If a seminar online has exclusive video content, don't go through them, but instead download the video file instead.
This is applicable to live videos that are limited to subscribers only and have an extremely short time. However, this hasn't stopped me from use. Because I'm using the WiFi hotspot in my budget motel, I have an unreliable and slow internet access at home. I occasionally provide water to their offices and grab their password, which is changed every few weeks. This allows me to save money by purchasing my own home Internet. It is amazing how much work it takes to own your own cable connection. I prefer to connect to the Internet in the hotel and avoid that. It allows me to be more stealthy. When it comes to all the things I do online it's best to have no street address.

So whenever I attend an online seminar that is unique, like from my investing advisor, or the school hosts a guest lecture with a famous professor, or maybe there's this unique underground rave event is streaming, it's all the same.. I'm unable to stream video due to of my poor connection. The process of downloading video to my computer takes between 2 and 3 times the time and that's why my connection is slow. It allows me to stream video seamlessly and without interruptions. So I discovered a way to get around the speed limitation. I simply saved online video onto my computer, so I could view it repeatedly without needing to stream it over and over again.



This is what I do in the past. I open Chrome browser. Firefox, Safari and any other browser that has an inspect tab. Click on the site to launch the inspect page. From there, switch over to the network tab, and then locate the playlist for video. Most likely, it will be something that has the extension m3u8. Your internet browser will download the files one at a moment and play them in order. This produces the video stream which is continuous. This is how the MPEG transport stream functions. Although it takes more data than the file size, it is smooth.




I then right-click on the playlist and copy the URL (into a clipboard), then I navigate directly to the site that I would like to download the online video. After a few minutes, I click the submit button and then paste the URL of my playlist. I then see several options for downloading and each one indicating the size as well as how long it might take to download. The size of the file will grow depending on the quality you select. I prefer smaller quality as it's quicker for my Internet.



I visit the file and choose it up as my download. Even though it can take many hours but the benefits of learning are always what motivate me to continue. I'm not able to tune in during live broadcasts therefore I save the broadcast on my computer. This is how I stay current with all the information and information that is available. This is how I manage to keep my mind tickled with interesting ideas and new concepts. This is the way I bring it all to life by saving videos and stay away from WiFi. I would recommend doing similar. No buffering, lagging and smooth streaming.
