Regency architecture refers to the architectural styles used during the British Regency period. This period was marked by major changes in architecture in Britain. Regency architecture featured new styles like Georgian, Queen Anne and Colonial styles. These styles were heavily influenced heavily influenced by French and Dutch styles. Not all buildings in the period of regency architecture were Gothic in nature, as there were some that incorporated the more classical style of architecture.
