Hari ini setelah kelas diadakan latihan quidditch untuk memilih tim inti qd, setiap murid gryffindor WAJIB mengikuti (kecuali yang izin) jika tidak akan didenda 30% total galls. Ada 4 posisi untuk qd:
- 3 chaser (ahli matematika, usahakan koneksi cepat)
- 2 beater (ahli swg, tebak-tebakan)
- 1 keeper (spesialis lucky)
- 1 seeker (spesialis clue)

1 anak wajib memilih 2 posisi. Misal: chaser dan beater. Khusus untuk keeper hanya 4 orang pendaftar pertama, seeker semua murid harus turut andil dalam memecahkan clue. Nanti yang terbaik akan dipilih jadi tim qd gryffindor.
