How can you keep boredom at bay during for long hours as a night security guard in an underground facility

These are tough times. I find it difficult to navigate this new world of gig economy just as much as I did in the past. I was doing very well prior to the pandemic, and now besides my main job as a dental assistant I had to pick up a night-time security position at a local machine manufacturing plant close to my home. It is mostly automated, workers work during the day, and night time crew consists of myself and two engineers. I've got an emergency phone number that I can dial when there's a problem or machinery ceases to function. I then contact engineers or outside line for additional engineers. I really don't do anything. It's not like they produce anything worthwhile here. Guards at night are a glorified switchboard attendant.

In any case, it's something I enjoy. It's peaceful. I have a hard time sleeping at night due to excessive gas release however here it's not a problem. It's a bit dull at night which is why I try to make it go by quicker. For instance, the last two weeks, I've been working on the dance I watched on Tik Tok it's not too difficult, however it's very difficult for me personally to repeat, it's developed by a girl in her early teens known as one of the famous Tik Tok sisters, so it's a bit difficult, since that's what they are famous for: all those tiny complex dances that involve simultaneous eye shoulders and rolls.. I'm not sure what I should refer to this stuff as. I'm too old.

Recently, I've been experimenting with different videos for fixing cars. While I don’t know how to apply these methods to my car immediately I do like watching others repair their cars. DIY videos are just as instructive and easy. But I had a second issue. I realized that my internet wouldn't start working within a few hours. ok ru download Therefore, I was unable to accomplish anything or even watch videos. I was capable of downloading Youtube videos and place them on my phone. I could watch the DIY videos even when the internet was down. It doesn't matter whether you stream it from some site or another online. Or if you download it in your home and then view it on your smartphone even if you don't have internet access or any other type of online. It's as simple as using DVR for online video that includes TV shows too.

In the realm of television, to my absolute delight I've figured out how to download the latest episodes and even movies directly onto my laptop. My laptop is much more comfortable than my desktop, and has better speakers. I signed up for HULU as well as Netflix. Both allow you to download their apps and mark the film to downloading. Then, in a matter of hours depending on how long the program is and the quality settings you selected, the video will be downloaded to your device. You will then be able to stream it any time with or without internet. I even now watch TV on my train ride to work. It's just 15 minutes long, however it lets me go back and watch some of the episodes I fell asleep to the night before.

There are a variety of educational or simply interesting material I can find at home, and then bring along to work to help make time go by faster. YouTube's webinars are great. However, it's tough to stay focused on the message when you're interrupted multiple times. You know what I'm referring to... In such situations I once attempt to make a plan at home, and download the YouTube video as an mp4 file on my laptop and then watch it any time at work. There are no restrictions on wifi, not even wifi is required, the file is stored on my laptop as a DVR, nothing can go bad no matter how spotty the wifi and it's not needed for me in this situation.

Sometimes, I drive my son to work. My wife's shift at night is too late, so it's hard for me remain home with my son. So I pack him in the intention of setting him up with my computer screens and within minutes he's sleeping. If he wakes up I offer him my laptop and some of the music videos I just downloaded. He's content and I'm content to do my thing using my mobile. This is how we can all collaborate better when we do our thing. He seems to like being with me. Maybe he's tired of being up all night.
