Online seminars could contain video clips that are not accessible to view. Instead, you can download the video.
This works for live videos which are restricted to subscribers only and have an extremely short time. We have never had this issue. I have extremely slow and intermittent Internet connection at home due to the fact that I am using a mobile hotspot WiFi from the motel in the next. Once in a while I bring water to their offices and steal their password which changes every few weeks. This helps me save money on purchasing my own home Internet. It is amazing how much work is required to have your own home cable connection. vido I just use the internet at my hotel instead. It allows me to be more private, which means I don't have to include my street address on my IP address for online activities.

So whenever I attend an online seminar that is unique, such as one from my investment advisor, or the school has a visiting lecture with a famous professor, or maybe there's this unique underground rave event is streaming, it's all identical.. Because of my slow connection streaming video isn't possible for me. The process of downloading video to my computer takes between 2 and 3 times as long, which is why my connection speed is so slow. It allows me to stream videos seamlessly and without interruptions. The speed was so low that my internet could not handle it . I came up with a way to get around it. I saved the online video to my PC so that it could be watched over and over again.




Here's the latest I did. I start Chrome browser, Firefox, Safari or any other that has inspect tab. Right-click on the page. Then, open the page for inspect. Then you switch to the network tab and look for the file that plays the video. It will most likely be something with the extension m3u8. Your video stream is broken into smaller files that the internet browser downloads, and plays in the order they are downloaded. This will ensure that you have a continuous stream. This process is seamless and requires more data transfer than the file size, but this is how mpeg transport stream is created and we shouldn't be complaining.



I then click on the playlist, and then copy the URL (into an electronic clipboard) and then go directly to the site that I would like to download the online video. After a while, I click submit and copy the URL of my video playlist. I then see several choices for downloading and each one indicating the size and how long it could take to download. The better quality the file, the larger it'll become. I would rather choose low quality, even if it is too slow for my Internet.



I open the file and set it as my download. Although it can take hours to finish but the satisfaction of knowing is what always drives me to finish it. I am not able to tune in to the live stream , therefore saving online video to my computer makes sense. I use it to stay updated on the latest information available. It's a way to keep my brain stimulated with concepts, ideas and other fascinating technological advances. This is the way I bring it all to life by saving video and avoid wifi. I would recommend doing similar. There's no buffering and no lagging and smooth streaming.
