It begins as a difficult training regimen that requires physical and mental exercises. However, it soon becomes apparent that this is much more than a regular competition between two men. As the competition progresses the tension between Evans and Sankai grows until a dramatic fight is reached that could end the careers of both men.

A brutal hand-to-hand combat leaves Evans wounded, but more impressive is the physical strength which lets him defeat his opponent. The physical aspect of the Sankai's training was a secret only available to the Thai royal family. Only a few people were privy to this secret knowledge, leaving Evans no chance of winning the battle. The strength of Evans' character relies on his ability to utilize his strength and physical power in a way that allows him to conquer his adversaries while using his mind to plan and change the tide of battle his favor.

Evans plays the role of bodyguard/martial artist who has to confront numerous difficult situations.
