Why does Youtube keep putting advertisements on my child who is who is watching baby related videos such as Baby Shark and other channels?

This is a question I have asked since the day I given my daughter the tablet and all the Youtube channels specifically made for babies. They are designed to help children develop, enhance cognitive functions and move forward socially as well as mentally. However, I can definitely notice my daughter is enjoying the show, she continues to watch it, her eyes sparkling, giggles ready to fly off her lips, I love watching her get amused. I just don't get the commercial breaks. My child is not a customer So why are they pushing baby-like ads sometimes on Youtube for my baby and YouTube?

Firstof all, babies don't comprehend commercials. This is a total expense and a waste of resources, including time spent making and playing this commercial advertisement (video) to a baby.. They're not even babies! If that's the case then why do you insist on showing ads to their little babies? Are you saying that if the father or mother, or perhaps other baby care givers are watching, they'll benefit from the ads? It's a bit unclear to me, and is getting frustrating.

Cat videos are identical. These videos are so captivating , my cat has taken to these videos. It's usually mice or birds My cat stares at them for many hours. The idea of hunting is what I am thinking. The advertisements continue to interrupt these videos. And whom is it trying to catch? My cat is not a fan of these videos. Advertising is not relevant to her. Perhaps they're hoping my cat will be watching the videos? They are in part correct however, sincere to say I am guilty of watching those stupid videos for cats with my cat more often than doing anything useful.

y2mate That's how I came across the perfect solution. It boils down to downloading Youtube videos to my laptop or computer and playing them directly from the device later on, as if I was offline and needed the harder copy to my hard drive instead of streaming them repeatedly from Youtube. Do you see what I'm talking about? I found this site that allows me keep videos on my computer instead of having to access it through Youtube each time my cat wants to watch birds. So now, I can simply double-click the mp4 file to save it to my desktop. Then it plays in VLC immediately, with no ads and goes straight into engaging my cat.

It's the same for videos for babies. It's easy to find videos my daughter enjoys, download the videos from Youtube and then copy them onto her table. Sometimes I just do the songs one at a time on her tablet. But it is much more convenient to access this website on a computer on your desktop and then copy them to wherever you want to put them. Maybe it's me, an old school...

This is a great way to reduce the use of mobile data. When the downloading of videos from Youtube was a reality I had to keep my tablet connected to the internet, either through a hotspot connected to my mobile or I would even have a special data plan for the tablet itself, when we went on vacation.. Data is very expensive when you're roaming the world... And so my data usage went down three or four times. We were able to roll over a little data to the following months. This was an absolute surprise to us. Normally, we'd be charged for overusing our monthly limit 2-3 times.. This is why I recommend to all parents of young children and pet owners: get your videos downloaded from Youtube and other websites to your device, save to the format mp4 and watch videos any time later without any additional data usage.


I am thrilled that you enjoyed my suggestions to help you have a more data-rich family. I know this sounds ridiculous.
