There's nothing better for our family than spending time camping in the fartherest reaches, but we always bring technology

I want to stress this fact right from the beginning that we are a camping family, a real outdoor family, we spend as much time bonding with nature as we can. We have dogs, cats and bring them along. We're one happy camping family. We know the place we're in and how it came to be there. And we know how to have a few hours on TV with each other. We don't want to give up our little pleasures and go the house without entertainment or music. We're actually insistent on bringing a generator and a nice (well quite small, but still functional 32" screen).. We do use a huge camper trailer type of vehicle So why not pack everything we can? People often think that we are nomads without any property to call our own. We live in Seattle and our father works as a lawyer for a shady firm. Mother says that's why the reason he goes camping at least four times per month - trying to not be a burden on his occupation..

We spend hours of enjoyment at the campfire. We talk, sing and engage in games by the fire as our pets, who are very independent, go about their lives within the area. Funny, they always know when they are due back for the homecoming part.. We've had a few occasions where we've left one or both in the wilderness, but luckily we go to the same national park nearly each time we go out, so finding them on the next trip always proves the easy task. Additionally, we have Joiner, he is a hunter-helper dog. He finds our cats quickly when we come back. They aren't losing weight, and they are loving it.


While we appreciate our tablets and smartphones around fires at camp, we also appreciate technology. Even for camping trips we will never stop to utilize them. Although our father does not mind, he turns off his mobile for the whole weekend. This allows him to unwind according to him. After a long day of fishing and hunting, we enjoy a large dinner in the woods. Then we watch television, movies and shows that were downloaded prior to the excursion. The majority of the time, we do not have access to Internet in the woods, so this maybe the reason that our parents don't mind calling us and eventually we'll run out of games and saved emails to respond to, and then get back into conversation. Most of us copy videos before leaving for excursions using Youtube clip converters or any other sites for downloading videos. Of course, HULU with its download features helps super good, because it allows us to stream hours of shows and movies copied and downloaded to laptop prior to departure. Series and movies are excellent for relaxing on camping trips. They also make it easy to reach. 3hr trips in a camper can be boring. My dad really enjoys this kind of time. He is focused on the road. download from vimeo Furthermore, this huge machine is extremely difficult to operate and it is essential to concentrate on the task at hand.

GPS is yet another aspect of technology that we cannot afford to lose during camping trips. In times of crisis it's essential to know where you are and how to get back to the city. Although nothing has happened to us while on our journey however, we have seen reports of people suffering from snow and dirt avalanches. GPS always shows the way to safety as long as you know where safety may be located. Friendly satellites in the sky will always point GPS in the right direction. This is why we have another piece technology that helps us get safely to our camp site. In the situation of an emergency, a helicopter will hover over you and check your GPS position. You should also have GPS in your bag for any remote trip. It is essential that you do not disregard the technology.
