Understanding Deconstructivist Architecture
Deconstructivist Architecture was a style of art that was developed in the late 1980s. It creates the impression of internal disintegration within a structure. This is usually characterized by a lack or harmony in the structural design. This architectural style aims to create structures that appear to have collapsed naturally, without any human intervention. Their main attractions are their striking simplicity and the sense of flux that these structures create.

The concept of deconstructivist architecture is very similar to later stages postmodernism. Both are concerned with the emergence of an 'anti-system' through an antagonistic interaction of opposing values. Deconstructivist architecture emphasizes the importance of excluding humans from a structure. It does not encourage a complete dissolution of architectural value into an Absolute, as the latter style does. However the architecture that results from such a process tends to be designed consciously as a structure that consciously bears some resemblance to the qualities of other cities. Such a process also suggests that there are inherent characteristics in human life that can be considered when a structure is built.

The most prominent characteristics of deconstructivist architecture are the rejection of modernism's rationalism. The architecture generally has an innate aesthetic sensibility and also an evocative allusion to the reality of the demise of modernist rationalism. This tendency is particularly strong in the work of famous French architects such as Paul Durand-Ruel. There is also an reference to classicism. Classic structures are typically depicted as isolated structures that are not linked to other similar structures. The Deconstructivist tries to give form to abstract concepts.

As the movement gained more prominence in New York, there emerged numerous prestigious architectural schools. These architecture schools were where some of the most famous architects of the 20th century. Frank Lloyd Wright was one of these recruits. He focused his efforts on the residential areas of New York. Exhibitions of Deconstructivist Architecture in New York City included structures designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and his wife Mary Carter.

A key aspect of deconstruction is the application of'social logic'. The physical and material connections that link the elements of a structure together are considered to be insignificant. This is why it usually takes decades for this kind of movement to fully mature. One example of an example of this is the awe-inspiring nature of how science and geometry are interwoven when viewed from space.

Deconstructivist Architecture in New York has created an entire genre of design practice. An exhibition at MoMA in conjunction with the Structural Integration Society showcased the work of forty architects whose designs were developed during the initial stages of deconstruction. The work ranged from paper and pen to computer-aided design and structural integration. Frank Lloyd Wright, one the most admired architects in America was one of the architects who used Deconstructivist principles in their architecture. During the Deconstructivist exhibition, Wright called upon the assembled audience to imagine the universe as a 'wild plant', and invited the audience to imagine themselves as part of an 'wild plant', and to consider how the plant could be connected to the rest of the universe.

รับสร้างบ้าน The movement continues to expand and spread around the globe. However, the genesis of Deconstructivist Architecture in New York can be traced to the First World War. Frederick Law Olmsted, a young architect, was famous for his use of 'offcuts' and 'barriers' to aid in his military operations. Deconstructivism has also been credited with being the driving force behind the 'Deconstruction' movement and the genesis of many of today's most significant artistic movements, such as art nouveau and Cubism. It also created some unlikely companions like Dadaism and minimalism, and gave rise to new concepts like futurism and cubism.

Today, Deconstructivist architecture is enjoying a revival in popularity. Architectural designers are exploring the 'alien' shapes again to create new perspectives in architecture. An architect today might take a simple roof panel and turn into a labyrinth that has staircases and exits. Futurists also dream of an architectural wilderness', where materials other than wood are used for building homes and houses.
