How to stay occupied during long hours as a security guard in an underground facility

The times are hard. It's difficult to navigate the gig economy. I used to do extremely well, before pandemic struck and now, as well as my main position as a dental assistant, i must accept a nighttime job as a security guard in a nearby manufacturing plant for machines. It is almost entirely automated. The workers are there throughout the day as I along with two engineers form the night team. I have an emergency number to dial in the event of an accident or when machinery ceases to function. Next, I call engineers or dial an outside number to get additional engineers. I don’t do anything. It's not like they make anything worth mentioning here. The night time guard is a glorified switchboard attendant.

In any case, it's something I enjoy. It's quiet, I'm an extremely spooky person, I get up due to excessive gas release at night, but here I thrive because it's so peaceful machines create a wonderful white noise ambience, maybe that's what i need to test at home, a proper atmosphere.. So I stay up all night in a state of sleep, waiting for it to come to an end so that I could go home sooner. The evenings can be monotonous so I always try new things to help them go by more quickly. For instance, over the past 2 weeks, I've been working on an Tik Tok dance. It's not difficult however it's difficult for me to recreate the dance. This dance was taught by my young Tik Tok sister, which is why it's not easy. I'm not old enough to know how to describe it.

Recently, I've been playing with various videos for fixing cars. I'm not able to apply them right away to my car, but I love watching other people create their vehicles to be impossible to stop. DIY videos are often very informative and easy-to-follow. Then I ran into another problem. Internet wouldn't work on my phone at some point. I was unable to access any video or other useful activity since, as we know, internet is essential for everything. I managed to download Youtube videos, then save them on my phone, and then I was able to view YouTube videos at home without having internet access. It doesn't matter where you are streaming from, how you place them on your mobile or whether you download them at home, then access it on your phone to stream offline in the event of internet connectivity. It's as simple and easy as DVR.

My son is sometimes working with me. It's those days when my wife works night shifts, and it is difficult to stay at home with our children. I take him with me and set him up on the computer screens to monitor my work. Within hours, he's asleep. I get him up and show him my laptop with a few songs. He's so content that he is able to view the videos. It's how we work together more effectively, doing what we like.. He likes to come with me. This could be due to the fact that he stays up late, which is what children would like to do.
