Camping in remote places is the ideal option for my family. However, we always carry technology.

I would like to emphasize this fact from the start: we are a family who camp and a true outdoor family, we spend as much time with the natural world as we can. We have pets, cats and bring them along. We're one happy family who enjoys camping. We know the place we're in and how it came to be there. We also are able to enjoy some time watching television together. We aren't willing to give up our naughty habits, or go home without music or entertainment. We insist on taking a generator and a nice (well quite small, yet still functional 32" screen).. We use a huge camper trailers and so why not take everything we can? Some people think we're nomads who roam the world.. We reside in Seattle, where our dad has a good job as a lawyer in an unassuming company. Mother says, that's why he like to go for camping four times a month, trying to wash off the dirt that comes from his occupation.. Why, I think that forest brooks are the cleanest and most suitable for the job.


We love spending time by the fire, we also sing songs and play games as our independent cats go about their day around the park. It's funny that they always come back to us for the goin home part. Joiner is our hunter-helper dog. He is able to locate our kittens promptly when we return. They're not losing weight and they are loving it.

We love our smartphones and tablets while at campfire, it is not something we are against. We are awestruck by technology and don't care being lost even on camping trips. While our father doesn't seem to be bothered, he switches off his phone throughout the weekend. We watch TV or play music and videos we've downloaded from the Internet before we leave. We rarely have access to Internet in the forest, therefore our parents might not want us to talk via the phone. However, sooner or later we run out of games and emails that we can reply to, and we're back talking. Before we leave for trips, we typically copy videos from Youtube clip converters as well as other websites that download videos. The options for downloading from HULU are fantastic because we can watch hours of shows and movies on our laptops prior to the trip. The series and videos can not only be used to pass the time during camp excursions, but they are also extremely helpful in getting there. Camping trips that last three hours typically end up being very dull. My father is really enjoying this time. He is completely focused on his road. Additionally, this huge machine is difficult to operate and he needs to focus completely on that.

GPS is another aspect of technology that we'll never give up on our camping trips. It's crucial to be able to determine where you are, and to find an alternative route back to civilization in the event of an emergency. Although nothing has happened to us during our travels however, we have seen reports of people suffering from snow and avalanches. GPS always shows the way to safety, as long as you know where safety can be located. Space-based satellites that are friendly can send GPS in the correct direction. We rely on another piece of technology to safely bring us to our campsite. A helicopter could be sent to the location you are in by zooming in on it, in case of emergency. GPS is an essential part of any remote journey. It is best to not ignore technology when it's essential for everyday life.
