The History of Gambling & Casino Games
If you asked a novice about the origins of casino games and gambling in general, they may give you an idea of the 16th century or even 1 000 BC. Since I conducted my own research I have confirmed that gambling has been around since the time of Zeus, the Olympian gods, and I am confident in this.

It is believed that the world was divided between hell, heaven, and the world of water through Zeus, Hades and Poseidon and Hades, all at the whim of a dice. You know what you're likely to say. This is all a story But what about the excavations of archeological digs that revealed dice-like designs that date back to 40000 BC? In the Roman Empire, gambling was also extremely popular.

The tale says that the Romans enjoyed all the pleasures of life whether it was dancing, winning and dining, gladiator shows or entertainment with games that required luck and skill. Numerous highly-regarded Roman politicians had gambling debts to repay and were taught to roll the dice in schools.

Historians prove that the early Greeks were also fond of games of chance, but they were later banned. According to legend, the Greeks were not equipped with the same degree of self-control as the Romans thus boundaries had to be established.

There are numerous evidences of gambling primitive like dice was discovered in China around 2,300 BC and earlier. It is actually China which was the origin of the games we play in the present. It is true that the Koreans created the first models of playing cards, but the Chinese perfected them using paper. Because at the time playing cards had to be created manually and independently, and only artistic craftsmen could make them, only the rich had access to them, which made them so desirable for the common man.

India, Ancient Persia and Mesopotamia were all cradles used for games of chance. It is believed that the game of backgammon an ancestor of these regions. In the beginning, throwing dice was linked to the art of divination, which is the process of telling the future with signs from pebbles, runes bones and stones. It was then a common game of luck that involved throwing dice.

The History of Online Casino Games
A lot of people are unaware of the impact modern card and board games have had on society as well as the history. There are many parallels between the games played in casinos today and the favorite games across all ages in history like the secrecy regarding Mah-Jong Solitaire in Ming Dynasty and Gin Rummy in saloons of the past West. Games have evolved from the prisons and palaces all over the globe, and have found themselves on the internet.

Mah-jong

The game of four players dates back to 2000BC, when the old Chinese royals where the only ones who were in a position to participate. It wasn't until a few thousand years that the game began to become well-known among the Chinese working class, but it soon became well-known throughout the western world

In fact when it was introduced to the Chinese masses it only took a few decades to spread across the globe. Because it was a combination of skill and luck, and due to its similarity to western games, it was easy to play in the early 20th century. Today, it is a favorite across the globe for its well-planned risks and big stakes.

Gin Rummy

The original idea behind Gin Rummy was one of the many variations of poker in the United States of America in the 18th century. Whiskey Poker is largely regarded as the starting point for Gin Rummy, the rules are very similar and there's even a different variant called Gin Poker. These days the competitive card game is often referred to as Gin in most countries.

Solitaire

Solitaire is a single-player game, is one of the most popular in the world. From those who are in complete solitude to casino halls that are crowded online and offline, the game occasionally known in Europe as Patience began to gain momentum in the 19th century, and has played an important role in global pop culture ever since.
Napoleon was believed to be a keen Solitaire player. However, some claim that he also played other games of the French at the time.

Backgammon

Sleight variants of backgammon are documented in a myriad of cultures for more than 6000 years. The turn based board game has never lost popularity, even during the successful rise of Chess. Backgammon has been a favored board game throughout the ages. It first became available online in 1992.

fun games gained recognition far and wide. Rome up to the pyramids, Backgammon has been noted in the most renowned empires in history, and quickly became a popular activity for the working-class through most of Europe. Thomas Jefferson enjoyed a game of Backgammon during his time in the American office. The record that he kept is relevant.

The game continues to be examined to this day. Computer software in the home lets you analyze your strategy, and even challenge both computer and humans.

Poker

The origins of Poker similar to bagpipes and rugby, are highly controversial. Numerous nations claim to have invented the legendary game of poker, but the most popular version of the tale is that the game was based on the old French game of cards known as Bouillotte and that the name we have today for poker comes from the German game called Pochspiel, meaning "to knock" .

Poker was a frequent element of the society of the American South. Blues, prohibition, and poker were all elements of Southern culture and were a crucial element of American society in Louisiana. Today online Poker is arguably the top played game amongst Internet players.

Online gaming is the thing today's a big deal... Play the games that have been played by peasants and kings alike. Enjoy the excitement that has helped shape and destroy empires for thousands of years.
