My children and I travel together with our children. We don't always depend on Wi-Fi on top of the mountain so we have to make our own at home.

It was me.. My kids are not good at this. They believe that the WiFi at the mountain top is weak. It's just a tiny hill. It's just above the normal network range. My kids are forced to search for better internet spots while my wife and I set up a small camp. We will be staying here for a few days. There is a tiny stream that is close to the site that has fresh water even although we don't have the facility. Yes, it is.. My wife cannot go camping without an ample supply of fresh water, so we bring out water all the time.
While my children keep updating their social media profiles I'm taking in the panorama. The hill itself isn't very big, but it's also surrounded by much bigger ones. At times we head out to the hills to connect with mother nature. While I really appreciate these trips, it is not my intention to initiate these trips. My wife is the one who insists on doing this, perhaps partly because she know how much I love being out in the wilderness. But my children have a different story. Internet can sometimes become unavailable. This is something I don't like. An electromagnetic movement or other cause a temporary interruption to your streaming song. It could last for a few minutes or so before the sound is restored. This is really annoying even for me since I usually end up hearing it all happen..

We decided to prepare after a couple of frustrating journeys without internet, in which the standard internet service on our phones wasn't working properly. My wife here and I made a decision that we would prepare for the day when our kids will not be able to connect to the internet for longer than 10 minutes. So, we made 2 entertainment options that can be used when Internet isn't accessible on camping trips. One of them was a tablet that is filled with music videos as well as popular songs that are currently topping charts. Our most-loved Youtube mp3 converter helped us take songs from videos, convert them to mp3 file and download to the tablet. It was also able work with playlists so it was quite fast, despite it sounding awful. You can now listen to music or watch videos when you are bored. What a great idea, don't you think? This item doesn't make any noise.
The second tablet had a lot of cartoons as well as TV shows that were downloaded through Hulu, Netflix and other applications. This permits offline storage, which allows you to save videos for later viewing. It is not the best quality, but it's what it is. There are many seasons of Breaking Bad, as well as numerous cartoons like Family Guy or Disenchantment. It was very entertaining and very simple too.. Just install the app, turn on downloading for offline viewing, and download episodes, mark the download date and then forget the app will take care of everything on its own. Tablet 2 came several times following tablet 1, but it was present when we finally arrived at The Wild. My kids were hooked and watching their favorite shows. I also included some DIY videos, like building a tent and skinning fresh-caught salmon. You won't find these things easy in the city. These videos were copied from Youtube and converted into MP4 then downloaded to my tablet. It's so much easier to watch videos on your tablet while you're doing something else.

These two strategies have kept my children entertained for 4 family camping trips. They aren't afraid to go out anymore, - they know tablet 2 will allow them to get through boring downtime and bring it home when they're ready. I've never felt happier. I am awestruck by my family.
