What I Have Learned
1. There are three types of circulation found within humans. Systemic circulation, pulmonary circulation and portal circulation. Systemic circulation describes the movement of blood from the heart via arteries to the periphery, and back to the heart via the veins. Pulmonary circulation moves blood between the heart and the lungs. A portal circulation are connecting veins, which are an additional network of vessels between arterial and venous circulation.
2. Pulmonary circulation moves blood between the heart and the lungs. It transports deoxygenated blood to the lungs to absorb oxygen and release carbon dioxide. The oxygenated blood then flows back to the heart. Systemic circulation moves blood between the heart and the rest of the body.
3. Circulatory system is used to transport blood and nutrients throughout the body. While Respiratory system is used to transport and circulate oxygen in our body.
What I can do
You can protect yourself by exercising regularly, eating healthy foods and having a balanced diet.
