Quinoa and Green Soybean Snacks
Edamame is sometimes referred to as green soybean, beer bean and vegetable soybean, needs a high temperature and at the minimum, a 65-day growing season to yield edible beans. There are a variety of cultivars that can be grown in international conditions. These Edamame varieties are suitable for American gardens:

"BSH20" These beans can be frozen throughout the year round and are perfect to make fresh edamame beans in the summer. They can reach a height of ten to twenty-two inches and a weight average of eleven pounds. They have yellow flowers. "BSH Tomorrow's Delight," another variety, is one of the most sought-after green soybean varieties.

"BSH Tomorrow's Fruits" is a special American-made fruit which was harvested in April. It contains twenty-one different cultivar s and includes eleven varieties of sweet red beans as well as three varieties of black beans. This variety is also available in canned form. The canned form of "BSH Tomorrow's Fruits" contains 21 different cultivars, and includes two sours and three mixtures of sweet red and black beans. It also contains calcium chloride as well as sea salt.

Soybeans that are grown in Japan and China are now being introduced to the United States and in recent years have become extremely popular. These soybeans are called "organic", but they are not as expensive as those grown in herbicide-free zones. Soy edamame, which is made from soybeans that have been rinsed and then placed in a warm water bath, is one of the more popular types of soybeans. It is high in protein, low in fat and sodium, and has a pleasant taste.

The National Soybean Board sells edamame in two sizes, small and large. I couldn't find any information about the diet recommendations for edamame in the United States. According to the information I've read it appears safe to say that edamame's high levels of minerals and protein are safe to consume on a daily basis. I advise anyone who has difficulty digesting regular soy protein , to consume large quantities of edamame in order to overcome the inability to digest regular soy protein. People who are allergic to certain foods may prefer to limit their consumption of soy protein to tiny amounts.

An interesting discovery is that edamame contains some phytoestrogens, a type of estrogen. Studies have revealed that estrogens can increase the growth of breast carcinoma cells. This could be a concern for women who are concerned about their health. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the phytoestrogens to find out if there's evidence that they interfere with testosterone and other hormones. But, it could be a fascinating area to study further. My knowledge of soy protein, and its capacity to increase energy, makes it obvious that I should include extra edamame into my diet.

There are other legumes grown in the United States that are as tall as corn, but less than beans. I've seen these beans in health food stores, and occasionally at Asian markets in my area. They are offered as long beans or Edamame that has been wet canned. I couldn't find any information regarding the nutritional value of the beans other than to say that they're rich in protein and low in fats.

If you're thinking of adding edamame into your diet for more protein, try to eat it raw. If you buy it already prepared, try eating a few ounces raw. lannaagro To make it more enjoyable, you can add soy sauce or some radishes or lettuce that are crunchy. It's a great source of vitamin B-12 and iron. The beans themselves are nutritious, full of protein, and low in fats. This snack will satisfy your hunger and keep you fuller longer.
