According to the postal acceptance rule, it states an offer is accepted once the offeree's acceptance is dropped in a post box or handed to a postal worker, but for revocation of an offer to be effective, it must be received by the offeree before they post their letter of acceptance, the ruling would be fair. A contract becomes valid once there is an offer and acceptance of the offer which is communicated to the offeror, expressly or impliedly. The postal acceptance rule is a receipt to it,s common rule acceptance which is only created when liaising directly with the offeror. Simply because a binding contract is formed and accordingly, that person who made that offer would become liable for breaching the contract if he/she does not keep their end of the agreement. The postal acceptance rule only takes effect when a letter is posted meaning it's dropped into a post box or handed over to a postal worker. Therefore the implication of this would become possible for a letter of acceptance to be posted after a letter of revocation the offer being posted before it's delivered, and acceptance shall be completed by the time that letter of acceptance was affixed. Thus the offeror's revocation budding is inoperative.
