Elvis Duran Book Review

We have all seen Elvis Duran in one form or another. The King of Rock and Roll made his debut in 1957 with "Blue Hawaii." For many readers, those are the first Elvis sighting, since he had only released four records prior. In this Elvis Duran book review, author Melinda Dillon provides insights not only into the man behind the curtain, but also into some of his personal habits.

We all have heard that Elvis was a master performer, but what did we actually know about him? Did we know that he was such a sweet person, or a lovable prankster? He was both, and perhaps even more so than we ever knew. This book provides insight into the man behind the curtain, and it is a humorous yet informative read.

A lot of people were scared of Elvis because he looked like an everyman. Even his own brother wouldn't admit him to the family bar. But Elvis would turn heads wherever he went, and often got the riled up crowds boisterous when they saw him. When he arrived in Hollywood, he didn't fit in. He was still viewed as a wildman, and was often cut out of music videos or banned from shows. But he was one of the most famous rockers of his day.

After Elvis made it big, he went on to star in four more films, and became the biggest star in the industry. But he never achieved the same level of stardom that he had during the early days of his career, and many of us would have liked to see him have a bit more success in his filmography. That's why this book review will focus on his filmography, and not just his music.

As with most of Elvis's biographers, they focus on his life and his music, focusing primarily on his five decade long marriage to Priscilla. The two had married in December of 1958, and their bond over their faith and upbringing was profound. Elvis believed in his wife so much that he was quoted as saying that without her, he would be nothing. They had twelve children, all of whom became stars of their own shows, and a number of them are well known today. Of course, Elvis would never amount to as much as he did if he hadn't had Priscilla.

This book review will focus on the five films Elvis starred in after his marriage to Priscilla. Some of them are: Blue Hawaii, Be Cool, Bill Monroe: All Good Things..., On the Contrary Side of Everything, A Christmas Story, Christmas, Come As You Are, and Elvis Presley: On the contrary side of everything. It also describes the careers of some of Elvis' other peers. These include: Boz Scaggs, Glen Campbell, Jannickesty Jackson, Bill Hilton, and Cher.

This book review comes from a book review website that gives book reviews. It's a well-respected website that gets a lot of books reviewed. One can easily find the Elvis Duran book review by searching for the book on the website. It is written by Dan Palladino. He is a writer and editor who has quite the credentials as an author.

The author provides a lot of detail about what happened during these years in which Elvis was able to live up to his fame. There were many challenges, and even the usual setbacks along the way, but Elvis always found a way to look at things in a positive manner. This book is very informative and a quick read. Anyone who wants to know more should definitely check this out.
