Each episode of Thai Spy is different and has its own unique story. Depending on which character you're playing as you'll have to deal with various cases. Certain cases are easier than others, requiring you to collect intelligence, gather proof, and evaluate testimony before going after the target. Some will require you to employ sneak attacks, long-range silent shots, or hit-and-run techniques to deter your target. In each case, you'll need to use your wits and intelligence, analyze evidence, make a plan, and execute to perfection.

There are several tools that can aid in your investigation. The diary is one tool that allows you to keep track of the development of your investigation. As you progress through the game, points are earned through completing tasks. Once you have enough points you'll be eligible to earn higher ranks and access to more sophisticated spy tools, like cameras and listening devices. The other tool is the spy watch, which lets you see the entire action through an infrared lens attached to your spy gadget.

The first chapter of Thai Spy is a well-written story about investigating an alleged terrorist attack in Bangkok. I enjoyed the manner in which the investigation was conducted, with minimalistic explanations and descriptions of the crucial events. It was clearly a novel however, it kept me interested. The action scenes were short however, I don't think they were fan-service-oriented in any way. Consistency was the only thing I found lacking in the story. Thai Spy is an entertaining game with a unique plot and fun characters.
