"Quality Bushel Sunflower" - This sunflower is very similar to regular sunflowers. The major difference between them is that the larger red variety is utilized in sushi and sashimi whereas the smaller, yellow variety is more often used in edamame. Both varieties have a sweet, peppery flavor and are slightly sweeter than most other soybeans. This is a great choice for those who like nuts in addition to the usual protein.

"Quality Bushel" Edamame - This variety of beans is created by cross-pollinating black and silver sea salts. Sea salt causes beans to release more solids, which results in a higher quality bean. The higher content of water results in a slightly salty taste in contrast to regular edamame. It is rich in protein and calories like all sea vegetables.

"Quality Bushel" Edamame - If you like a more robust texture and a slightly different taste from regular edamame, this is the variety for you. The bean tends to remain closer to its shell after cooking and retains only around 25% of its original volume. It is a moderate source of carbohydrates and protein. The bean can be stored for up six months after harvesting. The pods of edamame that have been shelled beans will last up to six months, however it's best if you don't plan on re-harvesting them anytime in the near future.

Through cross-pollinating between different soybeans, each variety has its own unique look and texture. Flat bean, for example is similar to common kidney beans , but has a more compact shell and a more wrinkled inside. The sea bean is a hybrid of the white kidney bean and the flat bean, however, it is larger and has a more coarse texture. Soybeans also contain a significant amount of protein that makes it a good choice for vegetarian foods or any food that has a high level of protein.
