Bring your tablet, laptop and even your smartphone along with you on your camping trip with your children.

This is something I learned the hard way. My mom has been on my shoulder throughout the week, reminding me to prepare this and keep in mind that. I shared my excitement at going on my first camping trip of my life with my kids and grandkids. Then she came in, huffing and puffing with instructions and advice on every scenario. I do not mind my mom speaking. Not listening to her lecture is uncomfortable for me. This was a big error that I realized the following day...or two.

We set off in the car with the intention to bring it all back to the camping site. In order to recreate the rural environment my father experienced earlier in his life I picked a remote spot which would turn out to be later on, was no longer in service. That means out smartphones were not working, and we were alone and there was no other camper in sight. I don't blame you as I had hoped to enjoy a wonderful getaway from work.. We spent 3 days outdoors in the nature environment, with nature.. In less than 24 hours, we were on our way home.

What did you do? We didn't have anything, none of the internet, there were no bars and had no money. I took a laptop along with two games online and didn't get it out of the bag.. I had a beautiful backdrop for the trees to view small projectors I brought with me to watch nice big-screen movies. But there was no Internet for accessing Hulu or Netflix. Netflix, no Disney+.. What is this.. My children were simply unbearable. They just wanted to get up to speed with their schoolwork and check their email and send me texts. We packed our bags and made our way back. keepvid mp4 My children were sounding exactly like little piglets consuming tasty food items after we left the area without wifi. I am truly grateful for my children. That was just embarrassing. They groaned and squealed when their phones started to beep, announcing new messages on their phones.

Since then, I've been more prepared and am trying to stay clear of an internet-free zone that doesn't allow for roaming. On a long boat ride to our destination, we required our new best friends. Two laptops and two tablets were packed with Hulu video offline downloads, Netflix movies and show on one device and every music video I had on the second. I also had the Windows app store that has both Hulu apps as well as Netflix apps. I've got about 600 hours of content to enjoy, which includes all of the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.


For children, I have number of videos that are amusing things. I downloaded a few music videos from Youtube and converted them to MP3 and mp4 formats to listen or watch. Some videos I downloaded with help this web app, it allows me to get the video directly onto my laptop. Then I can watch it easily at any time with no Internet, just give me an electric source if you need to recharge. I DVR lots of TV shows, movies, and Online Lectures. These videos I save as mp4 on my Laptop. Then I play them using VLC, KMP, or virtually any video file which supports 4K.

4k is another important thing which I am adamant about. You have seen it? It's amazing! I would recommend it. New TVs that allow 4k picture have great software inside it that process the picture and improves it, and upscales it. Although the original video might not look very good, with its unflattering, blocky and squarish style but the TV makes it look great and offers a modern, smooth video flow. Highly recommending to all the guys and girls!
