How can you keep boredom at bay during long hours as a night security guard in an underground facility

Times are tough. The current world of gig economy isn't so simple to navigate for me. I used to do well before the epidemic. However, my primary task as a dental assistant was relatively easy. This is why I was offered a nighttime security officer job at a local machine plant. It's almost completely automated. The employees are on site during the work day, while I and two engineers are the night team. I have an emergency phone number that I contact if there is a problem and machinery ceases to function without a start time. I then contact engineers or outside for engineers. I do nothing. And the thing is, they're not even creating anything of value So night time guard is really an attendant on a switchboard..

In any case I enjoy it. It's peaceful. While I'm a spooky sleeper, I sometimes get up due to excessive gas release at night. Here, however it's peaceful. Although nights can be boring I do my best to speed up the process by trying new things. For instance, the last two weeks I've been perfecting the dance I watched on Tik Tok it's not hard, but it's a bit difficult for me personally to recreate, it's developed by a little girl, one of those famous Tik Tok sisters, so it's a bit difficult, since it's what they're famous for - the tiny complex dances that involve simultaneous eye rolling and shoulder shakes.. I'm not sure how to explain that stuff because I’m old.

I've been playing with some new videos for fixing my car in recent months. I don't have the ability to implement them right away on my vehicle, but I do enjoy seeing other people make their cars stop-stopping. DIY videos are just as instructive and easy. So I began to run into another issue. Internet stopped working on my phone at some point. I couldn't connect to any video or any other activity because, as we know, the internet is necessary to everything. I was able to download Youtube videos to my phone. So, now, even if internet is slow I am able to watch DIY videos on my smartphone. It doesn’t matter how you go about it regardless of whether you stream the video on the internet, or some other site online, or download it at home. You can then play it on your phone when there’s no internet connection or wifi. It's as simple as DVR for all your online videos, not just TV shows.

In the spirit of TV I've found a way you can download new episodes or films directly onto your laptop. I started bringing my laptop into work because it has much bigger screen and better speakers, which makes it more enjoyable to watch TV on there. I signed up with HULU as well as Netflix. Both allow you to download their apps and then mark the movie to downloading. keepvid After just a few hours, based on how long the show is, and what quality settings that you selected, the video will be downloaded to you device and you will be able to stream it any time with or without internet. The show is only 15 minutes, but it allows me to catch up with the episode I was missing on the train ride to work.

There are also informative or interesting material at home to carry with you when working. This helps the time fly by much faster. Youtube's self-improvement workshops are excellent. However, it may be difficult to keep up with their thoughts when the videos are interrupted several times. If you don't get it I'll go over the explanation. In these situations, I again try to prepare at home, and download Youtube video as an mp4 file on my laptop, and watch it at any time during work, no restrictions on wifi, not even wifi is required the video is DVR-ed on my laptop there is no risk of it going bad even if the internet isn't perfect as it's not a requirement in my case.

At times, I'll take my toddler son to work with me, it's the days that my wife works her shift at night as well, making it impossible for us to stay home with the kid. Therefore, I bring him along, place him near the screens of my computer and he sleeps in no time. I wake him up and show him my laptop with a couple of songs. He's so content to be able to watch the videos. It's what makes us feel more comfortable with each other, when we are doing our individual thing. He seems to like being with me. Maybe he's tired of staying up all night.
