SariAgri - Menteri Perdagangan Muhammad Lutfi memastikan tidak akan ada impor beras dalam menghadapi kebutuhan selama Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat atau dalam waktu dekat.
Lutfi mengungkapkan, berdasarkan data prediksi dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), pada tahun 2021 panen beras akan lebih baik dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya yaitu sekitar 33 juta ton.
Selain itu, laporan manajerial Bulog menunjukkan data stok beras di gudang hingga hari ini telah mencapai 1.390.714 ton terdiri dari cadangan beras pemerintah (CBP) 1.375.950 ton dan stok komersial 14.765 ton.
“Jadi kalau kita mengikuti alur daripada pemikiran yang ini, kami pastikan tidak ada impor dan ketersediaan stok di Bulog juga cukup,” kata Mendag Lutfi dalam Konferensi Pers virtual, Senin (5/7/2021).

Kebutuhan beras Bulog 80 ribu per bulan untuk penyaluran KPSH sehingga ketahanan stok bisa mencukupi untuk waktu kurang lebih 17 bulan.
“Jadi saya tidak melihat adanya impor, KPSH 80 ribu ton per bulan jadi itu stok 1,4 juta ton bisa lebih dari satu tahun cadangan dari Bulog,” katanya.
Sedangkan stok beras komersial di Pasar Induk Beras Cipinang Jakarta berdasarkan data PT. Food Station Cipinang mencapai 41.158 ton untuk kebutuhan 3 ribu ton per hari dan cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Jabodetabek.
“Jadi saya merasa ini bagus, stok nasional juga baik dan saya juga tidak ada ekspektasi sama sekali untuk mengimpor beras dalam waktu dekat ini,” pungkasnya.
