The Drug King - A Movie Review
"The Drug King" is a film that I watched while in a theater waiting for the new release of The DaVinci Code. I loved the first two films, so I was sure I would enjoy this one. I thought someone who had not seen the two previous films would be a good person to review it. It can sometimes be difficult to find something new in a theater filled with action, dramas comedy flicks, thrillers and many other genres. In this case The Drug King is a good choice. It has a great story, excellent acting, and some truly bizarre creatures.

It takes place in Japan in the present day and the hero Hidehiko Yamane plays it. He is a young Japanese man who transforms into a powerful and vicious drug lord. The acting is flawless and the story is fascinating. It is often lost in the monotonous characters, overused characters, lack of plot developments, uninteresting twists. If this movie wanted to be different from the action-packed movies of the summer it would benefit from a stronger plot and more unique characters.

Instead, the film glides through the action like it's designed to do: with minimal to no anticipation. moviefree8k There aren't any brightly colored characters, spooky locations, vibrant costumes, Chinese mysticism or martial arts rituals. The action scenes are repetitive and the only thing that seem to change from scene to scene is Kim's hairstyle and wardrobe. The movie simply has too many boring scenes and pointless activities. The story revolves around the trafficking of drugs from the drug traffickers to their victims, through the mandatory police meetings and inter-office politics. The only thing that varies from scene to scene is the colors of the uniforms.

The main character in the film apart from Kim Dong-cheon (Chin Na-young) is actress Doo-sam. Doo-sam portrays Kim, the brilliant drug lord who rises to power on the Korean peninsula. He proves to be a brilliant tactician and a extremely intelligent man as well as being an accomplished planner and ambitious planner. ดูหนังออนไลน์ใหม่ He is an expert at manipulation, and he plans on using the power of fear to accomplish his goals and objectives. He also loves Onmyo (Choi Hong–Sul) and wants to protect her. The film explores the power of power and why loyalty matters more than wealth in a country controlled by the drug trade.

At the same time, Kim is also a aggressive and ruthless gangster whose past has been concealed from Onmyo. She is upset at the disappearance of her husband and suspects him of being involved in the drug trade. On the other hand, Doo-sam has a rival in drug lord Bum-shing, who is seeking control over the lucrative drug business. The police find out that Kim and his group have also arranged a meeting to discuss the Chinese drug lord Yoojung.

The Chinese discover that Yoo-jung and Doosam are in a meeting. They try to stop them, but they are defeated by the police of the Korean National Police Force. Then, they discover that Doo-sam's gang have also kidnapped the daughter of the KNPF chief and took her to their secret hideout. This leads the KNPF to search the compound and rescue the girl. In the meantime, Doo-san discovers that the drug king has also obtained some powerful weapons, and decides to use them against the Koreans. The film ends with a shoot-out between NPF and Doo-san's goons.

The film focuses on the lives of two different characters which highlight the ever-changing culture in Korea. The first scene depicts the drug king and his crew enjoying a barbecue as a helicopter hovers over. The Chinese restaurant in the background showcases their lengthy traditional Chinese meals while Doosam and Yoo-jung eat together for dinner. It is interesting to observe that the helicopters in the background are actually Korean helicopters, which are used in the military.

This film is not for people who prefer superheros or action sequences. The film is full of action sequences, but it's mostly about two characters who find themselves in the middle of a power struggle. Many movies have similar plot structure and the plot was not as complicated as I thought it would be because it was not written as screenplay. Overall, this is a good movie from Korea but does not rank in the same way as other films I have enjoyed such as the Replacements or Meet the Parents.
