'Cocaine' Movie Goes Global
From beginning to end, "The Drug King" is an entertaining movie. The acting is excellent and there is a compelling plot throughout the film. It is often lost in the overdone stereotypes as well as the tired characters and unfinished plot elements that the movie can become a bit repetitive at times. The main conflict is simple to solve, but it could also be that the characters are more complex than what the viewer thinks. The movie is still an enjoyable action film with a lot of very likeable characters.

Russell Brand stars as the main character, David Kleinfeld, who rises from being a drug dealer with a low profile to become the kingpin of the drug trade. His uniqueness is due to many elements such as his street-smarts and determination, his skills at manipulating and, of course the wealth that makes it possible for him to assume the intimidating role of drug kingpin. Kleinfeld was convicted of murder in the year 1968. Kleinfeld claims to be a street man who does "what other people do". While he is wrongly imprisoned for eighteen years, he eventually manages to surrender to the police and admits to the murder.

Brand plays David Kleinfeld, the most morally upright person you could ask to be the leader. ดูหนังใหม่ออนไลน์ฟรี We discover that his family was starving during the Korean War and that he had to work to provide for them. He returns home to discover that his family is dead and realizes he must be able to rise above his circumstances in order to make a difference in his life. He decides to start his own drug business, using his wealth and connections to make it a success.

While the film may appear to depict David Kleinfeld as a good person, we quickly realize that the only way for him to succeed is if he subliminally convinces the South Korean police and the American agents guarding him that he is a drug lord. Once he has successfully made this claim, he attempts to convince authorities that he is innocent by using the various options that are available to him. One of his methods for convincing is to create false trails that guide authorities in the wrong direction.

A major theme of the movie is the deterioration of trust between police officers and the drug kingpin. It is interesting that this theme is echoed throughout most of south Korea's recent history. The former regime was often accused of corruption and inefficiency. At the beginning Kim Il Sung's idealistic vision seems to rule the country, but corruption quickly took over. The lesson to learn is that, although the government may initially appear to be doing well, it often is the responsibility of the people (led by the song yang-ho) to clean house.

Although the movie is set in and around Seoul, many viewers have criticized it for its heavy emphasis on the characters from the North. The characters even had their own TV commercial using the same theme, which plays over Kang-ho which is the song in North Korea for "cocaine." Although some have suggested it was merely a promotional for the movie, others have noted that the drug kingpin was wearing the same outfit, which is an official North Korean prison uniform, that is similar to the uniforms of the elite soldiers. There have been rumors that Kim Jong-il was totally obsessed with the thought of wearing the same outfit but no one is certain.

Whatever the critics say the film received a warm welcome by the majority of viewers because it depicted the life of an ordinary North Korean citizen under the administration of a corrupt and corrupt government. For those of us who live outside of the peninsula and are not in the peninsula, the fact that there are scenes of buses being used to transport prisoners across the border, and the song being sung by the "Doo-si" girl is playing simultaneously is a powerful reminder of the human situation. Although the topic of drugs is not tackled in depth in the film, the meaning is clear. Of course, the question of how much influence the Chinese political system has over its citizens is not a question that can be answered without reference to the current situation.

There is no doubt that the movie "Cocaine" will continue to attract a lot of attention from the American public. It remains to be seen whether it highlights the growing problems of the relationship between the US and Western world with drugs. The question of whether or not the Chinese government will view the film as an attempt to hide the Chinese role in the drug trade is to be determined. Perhaps the public will be more aware of the correlation after the rise of the Korean Yakuza boss.
