Well It’s not surprising that I knew that question was coming and I did my “homework” about what you were looking for. So I will tell you about myself and also passively underline things that are matched to your requirements.

It all started when I was studying at Komarovi School, which is mainly focused on mathematics, I had a pretty good background in mathematics, So I liked solving hard problems. Then I enrolled at Free University of Tbilisi in the faculty of mathematics and computer science, I just want to mention that almost every Georgian developers who work in big tech companies are from free university and that’s where my programming journey began.

At first I didn’t really like programming, because it wasn’t challenging enough, but then I encountered competitive programming, I took 3 courses in university, practiced in codeforces and eventually I became pretty good at it.

Well, problem solving was nice, but I always had a feeling that I’m not creating something, something that I can show to someone. So that’s when I started diving into creating applications. Well for good applications you need knowledge of front-end, back-end, object-oriented programming, design patterns, databases adn etc. So I started expanding my knowledge in those fields.

Very soon, I realized that only learning and creating things on your own wasn’t enough, I needed experience, So I’ve started working as a Full-Stack Java developer at Caucasus Credit, which is a microfinance company. I gained great knowledge there and working with a big data was a nice experience too but after 1 year I realized that everything was easy for me there, it became mechanical for me to work there so I changed my workplace and moved to Magticom.
