1. Alergi adalah suatu
gangguan pada sistem
imunitas atas adanya benda
yg dianggap asing oleh
tubuh.
2. Karena sistem imunitas tubuh tidak seimbang.
3. Maksudnya, walaupun
antihistamin dpt
menghilangkan gejala akibat alergi tetapi jika suatu saat terjadi kontak lagi dengan alergen (penyebab alergi), maka reaksi alergi tersebut akan muncul kembali.
4. Diphenhydramine adalah generasi pertama antihistamine termasuk anticholinergic,
antitussive, antiemetic , dan penenang properti itu terutama digunakan untuk menyembuhkan alergi .
5. Loratadin dan
terfenadin , lama aksinya
lebih dari 12 jam, sehingga
cukup diminum sehari sekali
atau dua kali. Sedangkan
prometazin dan
difenhidramin aksinya hanya
4-6 jam, sehingga harus
diminum 3-4 kali sehari.
