Anak kedua dari dua bersudara, merupakan anak dari keluarga yang bisa dibilang kaya karena sang ayah (Jung jeong hwa a.k.a philip) yang memiliki bisnis hp terkenal di dunia dan sang ibu (choi min jung a.k.a chatterine) yang mempunyai bisnis butik di paris. Ditambah akhir-akhir ini kakaknya (Jung Soo Yeon a.k.a Jessica) yang sedang menjalani aktivitas sebagai aktris solo singer dan mempunyai bisnis fashion terutama kacamata -blanc- , jadi bisa dibilang hanya dirinya yang belum bekerja. Tetapi setelah lulus dari Hanlim Multi Art School, Jung Soo Jung a.k.a Krystal bisa yang bisa dipanggil Soo sudah bertekat ingin terjun ke dunia entertaiment. Sebelumnya Soo tinggal di San Francisco, karena sang kakak kembali ke tanah air tercintanya akhirnya Soo memutuskan untuk mengikuti jejak sang kakak.
