I partially agree with the statement quoted from Leo Tolstoy “everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself”. Not everyone, but yes most of us don’t really think there is anything inside ourselves that needs changing. We must know the implications of a change that we want to bring in others’ life, through our own experience. Therefore, we should not advise a thing unless we are practicing that. As everyone’s perspectives and priorities are different. We can influence others with our behavior but ultimately everyone lives by their own rules. If people see someone worth following, they would surrender their ideas and follow. I am aware when I point the finger outside of me and attend to that part of me that forces me to judge others as bad.

An American author and speaker John C. Maxwell said “Most people want to change the world to improve their lives, but the world they need to change first is the one inside themselves.”

I totally agree with the statement of an American author and speaker John C. Maxwell because most people just know how to put finger on any wrong thing but they don't think that this can be improved if they will improve themselves. For example: People usually say government should ban on alcohol and tobacoo based products because it is very harmful for health and this leads to many accidents as people will do drink and drive. But no one want to change in themselves that don’t take these products or become responsible person by not doing driving after drinking.
