Use Clarified Butter for Cooking

That is not a problem, as the dishes will taste fine as they are. For example, when you cook pasta, you should always use a lower-sodium version than you would use in casseroles. As an olive oil substitute, though, your pasta dishes will taste better, and you will not be consuming as many calories.

If you have never cooked with ghee before, you may be concerned that it is too strong or oily for you. To make a suitable substitute, simply add a small amount at a time until you achieve the consistency of butter that you want. It will be a little greasy at first, but it will go away as you cook the meals. It is best to store the clarified butter in an airtight container. Refrigerate it if you are planning to use it in the future, and do not re-use the old one when you purchase the new one.
