In the event of joining any phonics or phonics classes:
Many coaching classes claim Jolly Phonics is a Phonics-based training canter. But, unfortunately, most of them don't have certification for Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar. These are provided by the CPD college in the UK.
They're overcrowded. Little kids need extra care at this stage. (1 Teacher to 3 to 4 Students ratio is optimal).
They don't go beyond the syllabus of pre-printed worksheets (You can learn more from the video that they uploaded to YouTube or the site). So reading from just an exercise will not aid them in future progress. Instead, try to find classes that don't limit to the syllabus and methods used in Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar, however, reading storybooks, newspaper headlines, etc. is the principal focus.
Checklist for a while joining any phonics classes.
1)Certified Instructors:*Teachers with certification for Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar from the CPD college in the UK.
2)Facility:
* A quiet session
* Only 3 to 4 Students per Batch
* Individual attention
3)Curriculum:
* We don't just cover the syllabus and methods of Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar. Our primary focus is on reading.
* Students read stories in books, newspapers and more.
* The Reading Level of our students is always 2 to 3 std, in advance of similar age groups.
4)Interactive:
* Kid-friendly books and worksheets
* Colorful flashcards
* Memory games
* Videos
* Online Games and much more
