Jolly Reading phonics classes
Fact finds while joining any phonics classes:
A lot of coaching classes boast Jolly Phonics canter for training. However, sadly, many of them don't have certification for Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar from the CPD college in the UK.
They are crowded. Small kids require special attention at this time (1 Teacher to 3-4 students ratio is ideal).
They don't even go beyond the syllabus of pre-printed worksheets (You can see this in the video they have posted on YouTube or the website). So reading from just a worksheet isn't going to help the students with their progress in the future. Instead, you should look for classes that don't just restrict to the syllabus & techniques that are taught in Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar but also reading stories, newspapers headlines, etc. is the primary focus.
Checklist to be used when enrolling in any phonics course.
1)Certified Teachers:*Teachers with certification for Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar from the CPD college in the UK.
2)Facility:
* Uncrowded session
* Only 3 to 4 Students per Batch
* Individual attention
3)Curriculum:
* We don't only cover the syllabus and the techniques of Jolly Phonics & Jolly Grammar. The main focus of our program is reading.
* Students read books, newspapers, etc
* The Reading Level of our students is usually 2 to 3 std, over the same age group.
4)Interactive:
* Worksheets and books for children.
* Colourful flashcards
* Memory games
* Videos
* Online Games and much more
