In order to make good money working online, you don't have to reinvent the wheel, create the next social network, or create a product that solves a problem that everybody has.
A great idea requires a proven concept that has worked well for others, and then it needs to be executed with a personal touch.

Online programming courses like Udemy, Code Academy, and Coursera are available to take for 3 to 6 months. You'll create an awesome portfolio during this period if the course is good and you're passionate about coding.
Instead of jumping right into coding, you can work on one of the following teams:
A QA is a person who tests the developer's projects to ensure they are of high quality.
Dedicated to analytical development. The customer is responsible for creating the software requirements and advising the developer what they need to know.
An experienced project manager. The software project is directed by the project manager from the beginning to delivery to the client. It is up to him to set the dates and make sure everything runs smoothly.
