A Writers Odyssey
The Writers Odyssey is a movie that I fell in love with the second I saw it. Directed by Morgan Freeman, the film tells the story of a young writer ( Freeman) that mentors another writer ( Tobey Maguire). Both are in their 20s and had never written before. They form an unlikely friendship throughout the film, gaining knowledge about one another and growing as writers. If you have ever watched the film, then you're aware of what happens in the film.

You don't need to watch the movie in case you already have it. It's free and is available on YouTube. If you have never watched this movie, then go watch free online. It's not just the most amazing movie ever made, it also provides a valuable lesson for writers to learn how to write.


Maguire is Max Hammer, a young writer. ดูหนัง hd He lives in Los Angeles, and works as draftsman for a firm which creates films and commercials. One day he gets a visit from his old friend Milton Glaser, who wants him to go to New York to write a commercial for them. Max agrees to go but his mother is concerned that the writer will spend too much time at home , so she rents him an Manhattan apartment. While in town, Max gets to know Glaser, who is a successful and unassuming screenwriter which is a disappointment to Max.

Glaser quickly takes Max under his tutelage and teaches him everything he needs about screenwriting including character development, character building, and character development. This is among my most favorite lessons. Watching online free movies helped me understand my life and my personality. It was like having a personal tutor, but it didn't cost a amount of money.

After reading the stories of Max Hammer and learning from writer encounters, I realized that I required a book on writing. I went to the local bookshop and perused their selections. I was able find an author's guidebook which would help me learn a few key points about writing that I could apply to my own writing.

One of the best things that the writers guide book said was that writers experience different levels of success. There are many types of writers, they claimed. There are those who struggle and go through a phase of struggle , and then come back to their path, Then there are those who continue to strive and never give up until they get to the top. According to the writer's guide they should work hard since they have a lot to learn by constantly improving themselves. They can turn their struggles into something that can be turned into an advantages.

The guide to writers also stated that regardless of how skilled or experienced you are, more characters are more effective. Being able to have multiple characters allows you to have more opportunities to express your creativity. A lot of times writers have a difficult time creating these characters because they are limited to a single experience. If you have a lot of different characters in your stories you have the chance to showcase more imagination because your perspective will shift and you'll be exploring new angles.

The guide provided a wonderful experience for writers. They shared some of their own writing methods. It was interesting reading and gave me lots of ideas that I can implement on my own. It's great that there is a guide for writers for writers who are aspiring to benefit from and hopefully be inspired by. The Writers Odyssey is a fantastic resource for authors seeking advice and tips on writing.
