I still paying on the mortgage for it and just got a vehicle. I recently got work supply in another country that I intend to get (I'll be there about a year or two). I really donot need to market my auto and become left spending the rest of the mortgage balance. I needed to know if in the state of Va easily could end my insurance and park my car in the garage till I return a year or two from now. It'll not be driven. Our sis claims that if it is still listed in my own name I will have to have insurance whether it is not driven by me or not. Im not sure thus might anyone please explain? Cheers!
