SariAgri - Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) kembali menyentil penjual produk impor. Maklum saja, banjirnya produk asing membuat pemerintah menggaungkan gerakan bangga buatan Indonesia.
Musababnya, masuknya produk asing dengan harga yang lebih murah akan membuat pelaku usaha dalam negeri lumpuh. Menurut Kepala Negara, pemerintah berupaya mendorong nilai tambah produk melalui diterbitkannya UU Cipta Kerja.
Jokowi juga meminta pelaku usaha yang kerap kali mendapat keuntungan dari penjualan produk impor, melakukan hilirisasi dan memperkuat industri dalam negeri.
"Yang sekarang ini menikmati keuntungan dari produk-produk luar negeri juga harus berubah menjadi produsen masuk ke hilirisasi dan mengambil peran kekuatan industri di dalam negeri,” kata Jokowi saat Investor Daily Summit 2021, Selasa (13/7/2021).
Kendati demikian, Jokowi mencatat adanya pertumbuhan kinerja positif di sektor industri pengolahan. Sepanjang Januari-Mei 2021 sektor industri pengolahan berkontribusi ekspor sebesar USD 66,70 miliar atau naik 30,53 persen dibanding periode sama pada tahun sebelumnya.

"Lalu industri pengolahan juga berkontribusi paling tinggi yaitu 79,42 persen dari total ekspor sebesar USD 83,99 miliar pada periode Januari-Mei 2021," tuturnya.
Jokowi juga mencatat transaksi ekonomi digital sepanjang tahun 2020 mencapai Rp 253 triliun. Angka tersebut diprediksi akan naik menjadi Rp 330,7 triliun pada tahun ini.
"Nilai ekonomi digital diprediksi akan menjadi yang terbesar dalam 10 tahun ke depan. Potensi potensi yang belum tergarap optimal harus kita kembangkan tahun 2021," pungkasnya.
