If there is a clear answer in the research that favors one side or the other or a compromise between them, your peers' posts on the articles should also help you identify why some in the community are resisting that answer and how that resistance could be overcome (or cannot be overcome).
-
Using the arguments and rebuttals from the debate and the 12 source articles in the unit 3 (also unit 4) folder on the “Public Health Debate” and adopting the stance of a scholar or judge, you will evaluate the best arguments and evidence on both sides and determine the best resolution of the debate given those arguments and evidence.
Your resolution could determine that one side has clearly provided the more compelling case across the board.
Or you could determine that each side has proven part of their case (a compromise of sorts).
Or you could determine that a judgment cannot be rendered at this time and that specific credible sources need to weigh in on some aspect of the debate, or some additional research needs to be done before a conclusion can be reached
consider what it would take to reach consensus on this topic (i.e., where a significant majority would agree on the topic – there are always a few skeptics who cannot be persuaded). What additional evidence or additional testimony from a source or sources, could help the American community reach consensus on this topic?
pro team arg.

? - Staying home or protecting yourself when going outside is right by law and your personal beliefs about the vaccination, so no one should be able to tell you otherwise because it is your body and your choice on what you decide to do in order to keep yourself and others safe.

3 - it is unethical and a violation of individual rights, specifically the right to make decisions for oneself and the right to privacy to force everyone to obtain the vaccine
- rights to make their own decision, freedom
- history on freedom of rights
- hostile work environment, leading to workplace discrimination - mandating a vaccine
