Servo Motor: DC motorun Gelişmişi, Dönüş yönü mekanik konum hız ivme gibi parametreleri kontrol edebilir. İstenilen pozisyonda sabit kalabilecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır. 0 ile 180 derece arası çalışırlar
Step Motor: Çok hassas kontrol olanağı ile düşük deirde yüksek tork sağlayan motorlardır.Örn adım açısını 17 7.5 1.8 gibi hassas noktalara ayalayabilir.
Fırçalı motor: Motorun hareketli bölümüne elektriği iletmek için fırça ve kolektör kullanan motordur
Fırçasız motor ise motora elektrik akımını aktarabilmek için elektronik aksam kullanır
Reduktörlü motor şansıman motor dişli sistemi kullanan motor türüdür
Enkoderli motor ise dönme hareketini sayısal sinyallere çevirerek dönme hızı ve sayısı hakkında bilgi verir
Standart robot uygulamaları için fırçalı motorlar kullanılırken, yüksek performans isteyen
uygumalar için fırçasız motorlar kullanılmaktadır. Motorun devir hızını azaltarak daha yüksek tork
(motordan tekerleğe iletilen itme -dönme momenti- kuvveti) elde etmeyi gerektiren uygulamalar için ise
redüktörlü bulunan motorlar tercih edilmektedir. Dönme hızı ve dönme sayısını kontrol etmeyi gerektiren uygulamalar için enkoderli motorlar kullanılmaktadır.
Motor sürücü kartları ve görevleri:
Robotların kontrol edilebilmsi için kullanılır
Ayrı bir kart olabileceği gibi mikro kontrolörün bir bileşenide olabilir. Birden fazla sayıda ve türde motorun hız ve yönlerini birbirinden bağımsız olarak kontrol edebilir
Tercih edilecek motor türüne göre farklı kart kullanılmalıdır
