There are three types of national heritages in the Philippines and the three types are the Natural, Cultural, and Mixed national heritages. The Natural heritages are the natural features of the Philippines it was natural and not human created places. Most of the Natural heritages are habitats of threatened animals. One of the most famous national heritages in the Philippines is the chocolate hills its a natural heritage you can visit in Bohol. It was famous because of the unusual shapes of the hills and Its still unknown how many numbers of hills you can find there. Chocolate hills is so famous because of the color of grass when dry season comes because it turns from green to brown and that's why its called chocolate hills. The reason of the changing colors of the chocolate hills in dry reason is because vegetation dies in dry season turning it into chocolate brown. Geologist discover the reason why chocolate hills formation is so unusual its because its made of limestone on a top of a clay and the shapes is carve because of weathering.
