The Pros and Cons of Husqvarna Chainsaws

Because the cutting motion is not necessary, this adds an extra measure of safety, although operating time is not significantly increased.

Chainsaws tend to run primarily on electricity and starting each time requires substantial effort and can be problematic for inexperienced or disabled persons. By incorporating an electric starting mechanism on Husqvarna saws, operator can transfer power to the chain quickly and effectively. Starting each cycle automatically provides maximum operator control and reduces fatigue. In addition, most electric chainsaw models allow starting and stopping at any height, making them easier for workers who are working from elevated positions such as above ground structures or above window ledges.

While all Husqvarna chainsaw models use a similar cutting mechanism, their construction differs based on model year.
