Has the Current EDD (Current Estimated Date of Delivery) Passed?
If before 8 p.m. on the current EDD: If after 8 p.m. on the current EDD:
Track customer's package.
Suggested Verbiage: The estimated delivery date for your order is by 8 p.m. on xx/xx. You may track the progress at [carrier's website], or on Walmart.com. Sign into your account and select Track Orders. Please let us know if you do not receive your package by 8 p.m. local time on [Current EDD].
Check tracking to see the latest update.
If order is late, but on the way, (tracking shows movement in last 24 hours):
Let customer know it is on its way. Ask customer to wait three days after carrier's current EDD
If customer paid extra for faster shipping, check the original EDD.
If the item is already late or if tracking shows it will be late, then perform an Adjustment for the amount the customer paid for faster shipping.
Carrier Said Item Not Received from Seller
If not past current EDD, provide Current EDD to customer.
